Hwange Transfers

Hwange national park is the largest and the most popular park in Zimbabwe. It offers an excellent wildlife viewing, with over 100 mammals and 400 bird species present, including 19 large herbivores and 8 large carnivores. Hwange has the widest variety of mammals of any national park in the world. It also has one of the largest Elephant populations. The park is situated on the eastern edge of the vast Kalahari sands and scrublands. Habitats include teak forest, thornveld and Mopane woodland.
